Lara Abi Jaoudé is a certified midwife, graduated from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. During her studies she discovered that she has a huge passion for everything breastfeeding related. Furthermore, she worked in a hospital for about 3 years, and it was mostly there she discovered that many women, and especially mothers, struggle with breastfeeding, still believe a lot of myths and false facts, and view breastfeeding as a big taboo. This made her want to specialize in that field. So here she is today, a Lactation & Breastfeeding consultant. One of the most common and under-addressed issues was the untapped potential of breastfeeding due to lack of education, awareness and follow-up. This coupled with her specialization in Breastfeeding pushed her to create a personal and professional project through the launch of her own Breastfeeding counseling service, started on Instagram/Facebook (@Breastfeedbylara) during the pandemic and evolving into clinical consultations. Breastfeedbylara is a medical & health based platform. Lara offers education and counseling about breastfeeding from A to Z, she also help moms overcome all of the challenges they may face in their breastfeeding journey, and most importantly she make sure to tackle each mom’s special case. less
