Want to escape the city and see something new this weekend? Just next door to Dubai is an emirate full of secret gems that are perfect for the whole family. Next weekend, take a trip to Sharjah and discover some of the many ideal family hangouts.

Al Majaz Corniche

A patch of beautiful nature in the heart of Sharjah city. There are lots of open grassed areas with trees and gardens; perfect for a picnic, game of soccer or time in the sun. Take a walk along the water’s edge, enjoy the birds and hourly fountain show. Visit Al Noor Island and see the beautiful butterflies, enjoy the various playgrounds and spot some lovely art along the way. Wasit Wetlands
