Kyra Zeidan is a Lebanese Speech and Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neurosciences. Kyra also has a BA in psychology that she underwent during her first years of work experience because she believes that understanding the behaviors and the psychology of the child and his parents is crucial to support them in their journey and build the rapport that will lead to positive outcomes. She has over 18 years of clinical experience where she worked for 13 years in Kuwait as a speech & language therapist, the head of the therapy department and the principal of a school for students with special needs. Then, she moved to Dubai in 2016 to work as the clinic & clinical manager and speech therapist in a centre in Dubai Healthcare City. In 2020, she moved with her family to reside in Ontario - Canada. Kyra has extensive knowledge in early childhood, early intervention and in different professional areas (like fluency disorder/stuttering, language difficulties / disorder, developmental delay/disorder, behavioral concerns...). She is passionate to support children in their learning and development as well as their families in their parenting journey. This has also driven her to create "Kyrakares" that can be found on instagram and facebook to raise awareness on positive parenting and speech & language related topics. She recently launched her Podcast in the Arabic language تطوّر اللغة وفنّ التربية that streams on all podcast platforms.
