Parents are always asking what they can do at home to support their child’s learning and further advance them academically. While I usually answer with ‘reading and free play is the only thing needed’, I understand that some families want more than that.
So, instead of ignoring those requests, I would rather suggest resources that will meet the ‘academic need’ but will also balance with play. These resources are better than pre-prescribed workbooks and rote learning.
I have broken up my suggestions into 3 categories:
English – Alphabet – Language
Maths – Numbers
General Learning – Emotions – Fine Motor – Gross Motor
