UAE Adventures – Top 5 New Things to Try in 2022!

UAE Adventures – Top 5 New Things to Try in 2022!

How lucky are we to be living in the UAE?! Not only do we enjoy the sunshine all year long, but we also live along the coastline with beautiful clean beaches and parks. If that’s not enough, we always have the desert for a quick escape. As moms and expats who have been living in Dubai for more than a decade, we are constantly looking for UAE UAE adventures filled with fun, family-friendly & outdoorsy activities.

Here’s a sneak peek at some exciting ideas for UAE adventures to enjoy during the early months of 2022:

Visiting Expo 2020:

Yes! We can’t get enough of the Expo 2020 running for a couple more months. It is so far from being an adults-only destination, and plenty is going on that families with kids will enjoy, too.

Expo 2020 promises something for the whole gang, from playgrounds, family areas, and child-friendly dining to countless brilliant activities.

Kids can enjoy indoor rain, parades, mascots, swings, playgrounds climbing up waterfalls, robots, storytelling, musical performance, shows, and yummy treats at every corner.

China, The UAE, KSA, Luxembourg & Seychelles (No spoiler alerts intended).

Camel Farms

Living in one of the fastest-growing cosmopolitan countries in the world while having the opportunity to relive its old heritage and traditions is such an enriching experience. So make sure you tick off visiting Dubai’s camel farm off your bucket list for 2022. Your children will not only get to see the camels but also ride along the desert with their very own picnic baskets.

Skating, Scooting & Rolling

We love Dubai Hills Kids Park as an accessible destination for little kids and inexperienced first-timers. It’s a place where they get to ride and learn new tricks away from any intimidation. In addition, mom and Dad get to enjoy the serene green landscape surrounding the skate park.

Take A Day Trip

Why not take a day trip to Hatta? Hatta recreational center is the ultimate place to unleash your adrenaline with each activity provided. From pool plunging, zorbing, hiking, tube gliding to paragliding or mountain biking, it’s guaranteed fun and excitement. We also recommend Hatta Bee Hive and Hatta heritage village for a cultural experience.

Dubai has fantastic beaches, no doubt, but if you are always looking to try something new, you can head over to Umm AL Quwain Beach, the perfect beach day out for all of the family and just an hour away. It’s an excellent place for kayaking and surfing. The swings on the ocean edge give you a feeling like no other, especially around sunset.

Chase Hidden gems

If desert adventures call your name, a brand new spot is worth checking, and hurry as it only opens in winter.

‘Not A Space’ is a chill oasis to get snuggled under the stars in comfy chairs and enjoy live entertainment. You can even grab a coffee and get a haircut!

Kayaking

There are various best spots in the UAE, a constant source of attraction for kayaking lovers to enjoy both the view and the sport. The most popular locations are

Hatta Dam for beginners; your guide will constantly watch as you kayak through the picturesque Hatta mountain. Sofitel Hotel at The Palm Jumeirah is ideal for first-timers, too, as the water is mostly still most of the time, making paddling easier.

Whether you are into off-road trips, sports UAE adventures, or fancy restaurants, go with all your heart wherever you choose to go!
