One-on-one with Mona Ataya [Founder & CEO, Mumzworld]

An interview with Mona Ataya, Mumzworld Founder & CEO. She is a leading entrepreneur and a role model within this region. In 2013, she was listed among the 100 Most Powerful Arab Women by Arabian Business and was listed among the most powerful Arabs, next generation in 2013.

Mona Ataya founder Mumzworld in 2011, and since then there was tremendous growth.

With over 200,000 products of which 25,000 are exclusive, Mumzworld services over 2 million mothers, and ships to 20 countries in MENA.  The company’s sales have grown 15x in the last 5 years, and its employee base has tripled in the last year alone.  It has also grown to considerable size and weight in the industry supply chain, so that it is now securing distribution rights and has become the go-to destination for global brands wanting to reach the ME consumer. Having already grown its offering to over 1800 brands, it expects to double this in the next 6 months.
